Artist Bio: A love of Vermont and New England and a fascination with light are what inspire Buchmayr’s paintings. Buchmayr enjoys painting Dorset landscapes, flowers and both farm and domestic animals. She has had solo exhibitions at the Southern Vermont Arts Center, Dorset Library, Northshire Medical Center, Equinox Village, Spiral Press Cafe and the Village Fare, and has also exhibited at the Dorset Then and Now, Vermont Then and Now, and the Stratton Arts Festival. In addition to her fine art paintings, she also paints wooden accessories such as tissue boxes and waste baskets and does fine art commissions. Katherine resides in Dorset, VT.
