My name is Beverly Foster. I grew up just down the road from the library, where I spent many a summer day perusing the books. I borrowed every Nancy Drew book I could get my hands on. I love reading, and I love painting outdoor landscapes, mostly with old barns in them. I loved drawing and painting from the time I was little. I took many art classes in high school and pursued my bachelors in education and art. My favorite classes were my watercolor classes with Robert O'Brien, who is a well known Vermont watercolorist. He nurtured my love of old things and inspired me to perfect my artist style. I spent most of my working career as a teacher. Currently, I teach art classes for kids at the Londonderry Art and Historical Society. Sharing my love of art with kids gives me great joy.

We'd love to have your art here at the library!

The South Londonderry Library is excited to have artists show their work in the Janeway Wing. Shows would last for at least two months. Specific length and timing may vary. If you only have a few pieces, still apply! We may be able to pair you with another artist for a slot of time. As the heart of the community, we hope to showcase local and regional art, although all applications will be accepted.
