Come to the library during library hours to view the eclectic artwork of local resident, Walter Knowles. On display are mixed-media paintings of Venice, Italy as well as seascapes, landscapes, portraits and whimsical animal pictures.
Walter had an interest in art since he was 5 years old and painting became a lifelong endeavor. He has not had that many exhibits of his work, so make sure that you don't miss this one. July events for kids of all ages presented by Linda Schroeder are: Monday, July 8th at 3 pm - ICE CREAM CELEBRATION Friday, July 19th at 2 pm - celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the MOON LANDING Friday, July 26th at 1 pm - Have a WILD & CRAZY HAIR time SPECIAL EVENT: Wednesday, July 31st at 1 pm - ROCKIN' RON, THE FRIENDLY PIRATE will entertain all with music and inter-active songs. This show will be held at the Londonderry Town Assembly Room, just up the street from the library.
