Simple Gifts Workshop for Kids
The South Londonderry Free Library is celebrating the holidays with a special workshop for children on Saturday, December 7th at 10:30 a.m. In this workshop, which has been held annually for over 20 years, children are invited to celebrate the season by making special presents for family and friends with artist Casey Junker Bailey. All are welcome! Esther Fishman is the guest artist for November and December. Esther will be showing her multi-media works of art beginning November 15. On display will be her outstanding pastels, collages, jewelry and unique ornaments. There will be an artist’s reception on Saturday, November 16th from 10:30 to noon. Casey Junker Bailey will work her magic for a pre-Thanksgiving celebration on Saturday, November 23rd at 10:30. Children of all ages are invited to come on over to express what they are grateful for and make a Thanksgiving decoration. Thanks to John Specker for entertaining all the books purchasers who came out for out for our Book Sale October 26th. John’s amazing banjo playing was a treat for all of us.
